CEIS introduce a dependent visa: A dependent Visa is a type of Visa that permits the spouses and kids to travel to an overseas nation for the purpose of accompanying the family member with the corresponding Visa. With the help of Dependent Visa, the dependents of lawful migrant to a country such as spouse, dependent children can enter and stay in the country. Such dependents can apply for a visa to join the migrant in the country.
Dependents on their part will have to prove that they intend to live with the primary applicant during their stay and their relationship is genuine. Children under 18 will have to prove that they are not leading an independent life and rely on the primary applicant for support.
The Countries such as Canada, the UK and Australia allow spouses and partners to work whereas the countries such as Hong Kong and the USA allow only married spouse to work. The processing time of a dependent visa application depends on the country you are applying to it is the responsibility dependents to provide genuine and legal documents to the CEIS, if they want to increase the changes of the visa in short period.
Generally dependents are your spouse and any kids below 18 years old. A child can be biological, legally adopted, or a step child. Temporary custody is not sufficient to claim someone as a dependent.
